Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need to go to your church or be Christians?

Nope! Everyone is welcome, regardless of faith background - in fact, we would love for this to be a place where our whole community can feel included. We do, however, talk about Jesus and his love for us!

Can my child be with their sibling/friend?

Kids are grouped by grade level: rising 1st & 2nd graders are together, rising 3rd & 4th graders are together, and rising 5th & 6th graders are together. All groups are co-ed. If your child would like to request a buddy in their same grade range, there is a place to note it on the registration form.

How do I request a scholarship?

What does my child need to bring?

We want Maker Camp to be accessible to everyone in our community, regardless of finances. Please fill out this scholarship request form before registering. We have a scholarship fund and would like to work with you!

What is your refund policy?

What are you doing about covid?

We will be following all state and local guidelines for covid safety. Given the changing nature of the pandemic, we will communicate specifics closer to camp.

Is there extended day/after care?

In 2024 we will not be offering any extended care.

  • Campers should wear comfortable clothing and shoes that are appropriate for messy crafts and active play.

  • Each day will have some indoor and outdoor time. Please have them apply sunscreen before they arrive, and bring a water bottle.

  • We will provide a nut-free snack. You do not need to send any food unless the child has additional dietary restrictions.

  • Please DO NOT send electronics with your child. In addition to the risk of them being lost/damaged, we want to focus on building in-person relationships this week!

2024:

  • If you cancel your family's registration by April 30, we can offer a full refund.

  • For cancellations between May 1-31, we can offer a refund minus a $50 administration fee.

  • After June 1, we will not be able to offer a refund.
